Book Description
"Moksha: The Liberation" is an attempt to highlight the vastness and the magnanimity of the Vedic scriptures. It portrays the essence of the ancient wisdom hidden in the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Puranas, the Itihasas and many other innumerable scriptures, that encompass not only theological knowledge but cover a wide variety of subjects, including science, medicine, cosmology etc. The stories encapsulated in this book incline more towards the spiritual aspects than the religious.
Hinduism has always been all-inclusive and is more a way of life and culture than a religion. It has not been founded by any single person but has grown and evolved over thousands of years and with a multitude of concepts. It has been a sincere endeavour not to simply regurgitate the stories, but to compartmentalise them into a storyline and logical grouping, to the extent possible. Analogies and interpretations have been drawn, wherever appropriate.
